The Role
The Sr Director, Enterprise Applications will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce applications and systems within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our business systems, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce software, effectively drive process improvement, supporting business growth, and ensuring seamless integration across various platforms to optimize operational efficiency. The Sr Director, Enterprise Applications will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage a high-performing technical team, and align enterprise application strategies with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Salesforce Platform ecosystem including deep knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. Experience with other enterprise applications platforms will be important as you understand data flows and integrations.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Thought Leadership: Be the expert on the Salesforce Applications ecosystem advising peers and the business on roadmap, capabilities, best practices. Working with peers and business leaders, develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for Salesforce applications and systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business processes.
Financial Systems Management: You will be fully responsible for overseeing the administration and optimization of revenue and billing financial applications, with a particular focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and related tools. Ensure that systems meet business needs and drive efficiency.
Process Improvement: Analyze and enhance business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline business operations.
Team Leadership: Build, lead and mentor a team of business applications professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. Establish and post implementation operations environment and continue to prioritize workload.
Project Management: Work with CDK's Project Management Office, to manage and oversee application projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely across all IT, and other business departments to gather requirements, address issues, and ensure successful integration and utilization of financial systems.
Data Management: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of business data within applications.
Reporting and Analytics: Utilize built in reporting capabilities to provide the business with meaningful reports. Work with the centralized data and analytics team to create connected analytics across multiple systems.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with software vendors and consultants, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and service level agreements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce applications and business processes, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of all Salesforce Clouds and other Salesforce software e.g. Flows. Experience with data management and reporting tools is essential.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Consultant, or similar credentials are a plus.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in process optimization and project management.
Salary Range: $215,000 - $275,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
