Under the direction of the Research Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant responsibilities are to provide research support as specified on the research proposal and/or grant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to entering data, creating reports, reviewing medical records for data gathering and/or consenting patients for study.
Creates, designs and maintains various databases and spreadsheet applications re: patient populations and research initiatives and disseminates patient-related reports to researcher/s.
Enters data into database.
Produces reports as per study guidelines
Consents patients for study.
Reviews patients' medical record for data gathering.
Under the direction of researcher/s, completes forms and documentation to ensure research study is accurate and consistent with regulatory guidelines.
Performs general clerical duties relating to research study.
Ensures all documentation is accurate and consistent with study guidelines
Under the direction of the researcher/s, performs other research duties as needed
Qualifications

Ability to appropriately handle sensitive/confidential information
