The Marketing Strategist will develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that support the goals of Program Services, Sales, Client Service, and Innovation/Strategy. They will collaborate with these departments to support Marketing Objective & Key Results (OKRs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracking performance to measure the success of their initiatives. Additionally, this role will serve as a liaison between Marketing and these departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination for successful campaign execution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Create marketing campaigns for assigned departments and divisions
Includes lead generation, retention, and attrition campaigns and coordination of partnership marketing deliverables
Project management campaigns from creation to execution
Come up with creative ideas and guidance for marketing collateral [Develop innovative marketing collateral ideas and concepts]
Collaborate with Marketing to leverage omnichannel marketing tools to generate leads for sales
Identify new marketing tools and strategies to generate awareness and brand exposure for products
Monitor marketing campaign effectiveness and create measurement scorecards
Contribute to strategic solutions and come up with tactical execution ideas
Prepare Sales Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Execute on assigned Marketing OKRs and KPIs to support the Marketing department's goals
Responsible for researching and recommending industry events, placement and sponsorship opportunities
Collaborate with the Content Marketing Specialist to define and track event data metrics.
Create event lead generation strategies
Create and execute lead engagement tracking, monitoring processes and reporting
Monitor marketing finance/banking trends and competitor marketing strategies
Collaborate within own department and outside departments to develop key messages and content for assets, client correspondence and other communication vehicles as needed
Build emails and make website updates whenever necessary, as well as coordinate with the Digital Specialist
Manage marketing budget when applicable
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Skills
Detail-oriented and accuracy focused
Ability to time manage, prioritize and manage tasks to meet or beat deadlines on assignments
Team player and collaborator cross-functionally with SNC and Markel
Will need to gain a solid understanding of Marketing department technology stack, Dynamic CRM, and other company systems, workflows, and guidelines for assigned product lines
Strong communicator with project management skills
Ability to interpret OKRs and KPI's and make adjustments to projects/campaigns accordingly
Knowledge of design principles/programs (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) is a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 3+ years' work experience, marketing experience preferred. Insurance experience a plus. Master's degree is a plus
3-5 years of business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience preferred
3-5 years of experience tracking/using marketing analytics
Vendor management experience preferred
WORK CONDITIONS
Office Environment, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
