Tyto Athene is searching for a dynamic, proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead complex cybersecurity projects for federal clients. This role contributes to high-impact projects in the federal contracting space, providing essential support to the cybersecurity needs of our government clients. Requires technical aptitude in cybersecurity, along with the ability to manage tight deadlines, collaborate in a team environment, and solve technical challenges with minimal guidance. The candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills and strong expertise in project management, particularly within fast-paced, cybersecurity-driven environments.
Responsibilities:
Produce detailed project plans that define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Use Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to guide project teams and ensure timely progress.
Track projects, identify risks, and manage blockers to maintain project momentum.
Collaborate with SOC teams to develop solutions aligned with client IT security and compliance requirements.
Prepare and deliver clear status reports, briefings, and recommendations to clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the project, ensuring clear communication and effective stakeholder management.
Capture meeting notes, track decisions, and assign action items to ensure follow-through and accountability.
Required:
Minimum 8 years of general experience with at least 6 years in cybersecurity project management.
