Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales professional for Mechanical Automation Drives and Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities with clients in various industries. They will also be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with existing clients and expanding that business. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical automation drives and systems, as well as a proven track record of successful sales in the field.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients in automation and robotic industries.
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to solidify and expand business.
Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including engagement with design and engineering teams and bring our resources together with customers design dreams.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and customer service, to ensure client needs are met.
Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company and its products.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new products in the field.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
Proven ability to build relationships with Senior Leaders and engineering and technical teams.
3+ years of sales experience in mechanical automation drives and systems.
Strong technical knowledge of motion control system needs and designs.
Experience and ability to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM software.
