5+ years in contract management and/or contractor performance monitoring, experience in safety oversight and training, technical knowledge of natural gas systems, and strong analytical and communication abilities. This is a hybrid schedule with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.
What You Will Do
Monitor contractor relationships and provide direction to multiple internal and external customers on terms and conditions of resource management contracts.
Monitor contractor performance to ensure services conform to the contractual requirements.
Maintain and strengthen relationships by providing routine guidance and assistance to operations, supervisors, managers, directors, contractors and local government officials regarding company/governmental standards and associated resource management contracts.
Schedule and facilitate performance/project review meetings to identify areas that resource management contracts are sufficiently or insufficiently meeting Company needs.
Identify areas of improvement and track progress on remediation plans for insufficient areas.
Schedule and facilitate pre-construction meetings on large or complex projects with attendance from contractors, operations, engineering, right-of-way and scheduling to ensure timely and effective completion of projects.
Communicate interpreted contracts to field operations leadership, inspections and engineering.
Address any safety violations and/or performance related incidents identified involving resource management contractors. Ensure safety practices are being followed.
Assist in the resolution of disputed invoices or routine contract disputes from resource management contractors.
Provide field operations with support and guidance related to the use of procedures, equipment and materials as it relates to resource management contracts.
Assist resource management contract employees performing various technical activities and clerical functions.
Verify contract terms are being enforced and advise contract performance management on areas of improvement for contract enforcement.
Work with local operations and scheduling to assist with contractor crew strength and field inspection needs for responsible geographical areas.
Work with field operations to ensure the contractor crews needs and requests are met.
Ensure procedural updates and construction guidance/safety alerts are communicated to contractors.
Capture key performance indicators for enterprise performance management.
Attend project bid meeting for blanket contract work and ad hoc project work to ensure understanding of project terms and conditions.
Relay feedback from meetings back to leadership as needed.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

What You Will Need
Preferred Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field operation experience, technical or non-technical training or equivalent formal education to include a combination of courses such as business management, business law, business communications, math, contracts, project management, safety law/accident prevention, performance measurement systems, accounting, engineering.
Experience and thorough knowledge of working with contact terms and conditions, contract performance measures, negotiations and conflict resolution.
Experience and thorough knowledge of construction, maintenance and operation of natural gas distribution and transmission systems.
Inspect installations and repairs of natural gas distribution and transmission systems.
Interact, advise and communicate with other departments to achieve desired results.
Interpret annual work plan, field policies and procedures, operator qualification plans, safety manuals, job specifications, reports and correspondence.
Experience researching, analyzing and preparing needs assessments relative to equipment, tools and materials.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and desktop software.
Demonstrated ability in developing information and making presentations to all levels within the organization.
Read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license
Minimum Operator qualification covered tasks where applicable
Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and outside field sites/locations.
Operate office tools and equipment required.
Communicate and/or exchange information verbally and conduct presentations.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
