As a Media Strategy Lead, you will manage the planning and implementation of assigned campaigns. You will assist in the day-to-day management of the media agency, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver against goals, on time and on budget. You will work directly with internal partners, representing media processes and best practices.
You will report to a Manager and will not have direct reports.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you'll doManage the media planning process from planning through implementation for assigned onsite campaignsPartner with internal partners and media agency on creation and execution of campaigns, ensuring campaigns deliver against goals while adhering to established guidelinesSteward the end-to-end process including media plan deliverables, budgets, approvals, and documentationUnderstand and communicate drivers of campaign performance to internal and external partnersSupport strategic planning and team projects across additional paid and owned media channels, as neededBasic qualifications2+ years of experience with digital media strategy, planning and/or buying in an agency, advertiser, or publisher settingIntermediate level of proficiency with Excel (advanced formulas & pivot tables) and PowerPoint (data visualizations and story-telling)Familiarity with retail media network, programmatic display and/or social campaign execution2+ years of project coordination experience including rigorous attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsCurious and eagerness to learn, desire to stay current on industry trends, tools and business opportunitiesPreferred qualificationsMedia agency experience An understanding of building and managing digital media campaigns in a buying platformExperience with omni-channel media programs for a national, retail brand or retail media networkAdvanced PC Skills to include all Microsoft Office products, and experience with SalesforceWhat's in it for you
