Location: Atlanta, GA

Description: Our client is currently seeking a SANITATION MANAGER in GA.


Responsibilities:


•Assist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standards


•Ensure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work rules and procedures


•Support compliance to plant quality and food safety systems, pest control, sanitation, environmental policy, corrective action policy, etc.


•Evaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as needed


•Ensures master sanitation schedules are maintained.


•Conduct inspections and initiate corrective action as needed


•Orders all cleaning chemicals and maintains adequate levels are cleaning inventory


•Participate and lead continuous improvement efforts for the department


Qualifications & Requirements:


•3+ years of quality or sanitation leadership experience in the food industry


•Knowledge of food safety programs and systems: GFSI (BRC or SQF preferred), internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCP


•strong CIP experience required


•Open to working on a 1st shift Monday- Friday with occasional weekend or holiday work as needed


•Strong familiarity with sanitation chemicals and ordering/storage of these materials.


•Microbiological and sanitation experience preferred
