Job Title: Senior PowerBI Developer


Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior End-to-End PowerBI Developer to work independently under the Product Manager. The role involves transforming business requirements into technical requirements, data models, reports, and dashboards while ensuring performance and security. The ideal candidate must quickly learn and apply our data schemas, metrics, and visual standards.


Experience Level:

• Level 3 (Senior): 8+ years of overall experience

Qualifications:


Must-Have Skills:

• Extensive experience with PowerBI


• Exceptional data modeling and SQL skills


• Proficiency with Bookmarks, Custom Visuals, and Field parameters in PowerBI


• 8-12 years of overall development experience


• 5+ years of advanced PowerBI development


• 8+ years of SQL experience, including modeling data and writing complex queries


• Experience with GIT for version control

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Object-Oriented Framework development


• Familiarity with Miro

Responsibilities:

• Work independently under the Product Manager to deliver internal projects


• Communicate with the Product Owner, follow the development timeline, and confidently test work


• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to quickly learn and apply data schemas, metrics, and visual standards


• Collaborate with BAs and the Product Manager to derive technical requirements from business requirements


• Create end-to-end dashboards, including technical requirements, test cases, data modeling, SQL, and visualization in PowerBI


• Work with the data engineering and data architecture team to ensure data flows and availability


• Design and implement interactive reports and dashboards in PowerBI, following best practices and standards


• Include drill-through, drill-down, and tool-tips for end-user interaction


• Ensure reports meet performance benchmarks


• Configure appropriate refresh schedules


• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy


• Conduct unit tests, work with QA/QC, and support UAT


• Document data models, report structures, and logic used in data product development


• Participate in daily stand-ups
