Responsibilities
The Manager, International Pricing will drive success and development within the International Department through creating, implementing, and maintaining organizational pricing programs, strategies, and processes aligned with the department’s overall objectives. The Manager, International Pricing will document, standardize, and optimize pricing activities for services related to US import transportation and customs brokerage, serve as a liaison, and facilitate communication related to pricing both within and outside of the company. The Manager, International Pricing will organize monthly department meeting with key stakeholders, make strategic recommendations, and execute-upon them. The Manager, International Pricing will manage and mentor department team members.
Although candidates from various US locations would be considered, it is preferred that candidates be located in Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, St.Paul/Minneapolis, MN, Florida or Texas.

Define and standardize all services related to import transportation and customs brokerage.
Develop, implement, and maintain pricing programs and pricing strategies through collaboration, research, data mining, and statistical analysis.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal processes to execute upon stating pricing objectives.
Maintain and optimize cost accrual process.
Organize monthly department meetings with skey stakeholders and make strategic recommendations.
Identify and execute upon opportunities for improvement and expansion of department programs and processes.
Analyze and audit costs and sell rates related to import ocean freight and local transportation; validate against stated margin objectives.
Train, develop, mentor, and manage department team members.
Set and monitor development plans for direct reports.
Negotiate, document, and maintain domestic delivery rates with network of national vendors.
Ensure FMC compliance in all import actions and record keeping.
Develop, implement, and maintain client pricing agreements (rate grids).
Communicate pricing agreements (Negotiated Rate Arrangements) to all clients in a timely and compliant manner.
Serve as liaison between EFW internal and external partners, including EFW’s international agent network.
Develop, publish, and maintain internal department resources for use throughout company.
Demonstrate and educate a thorough understanding of industry-related terminology.
Effectively communicate expectations and responsibilities to internal teams. Actively listen and address issues and concerns promptly.
Ensure that business is conducted with the highest quality, integrity, and efficiency standards through continuous team development, guidance, and coaching.
Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION
The position functions semi-autonomously. Position directly supervises 1-10 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in supply chain management or related field and 5 years of experience in global pricing or an internation logistics leadership role. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
