Position Overview:
They are seeking a Commercial Estimator with 3-5 years of experience in estimating Hardbid and public commercial work. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, ready to take on challenges and grow within the company. You will receive training but are expected to take initiative and run with projects independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Hardbid and public commercial projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Lead and mentor junior estimators, with the potential to build and manage a team.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations.
- Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial estimating, specifically Hardbid and public commercial projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and eager to learn in a supportive work environment.
