Boeing Government Security is currently seeking an Experienced Industrial Security Specialist to join their team in Herndon, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure adherence with government and company regulations/requirements, identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action
Conduct Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collect and analyze data, conduct interviews and write reports) on personnel, processes and situations
Protect government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures and assist less experienced personnel with Internal Security Controls
Develop, implement and administer an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
Perform Personnel Security processes (work with databases, review files, conduct interviews, submit paperwork to customers and schedules briefings) to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses
Develop and conduct a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information
Perform Physical Security duties and responsibilities within the Boeing Herndon facility (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas)
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer required
5 or more years of industrial security experience in a variety of security support capacities such as, personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and other programmatic security-related field
Ability to obtain a successful a US government polygraph examination (Counter Intelligence or Full Scope)
Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access
Willingness to perform occasional second-shift or after-hours work schedules to accommodate program operations
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a background investigation date within the last 6 years; In Scope polygraph examination
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience in a role that required Project Management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Contract Program Security Officer/Facilities Security Officer (CPSO/FSO) Experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $122,000 - $140,300
