RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in the Mauston, WI area is looking for a Director of Accounting.

Summary:
The Director of Accounting position is responsible for the accounting systems and operations, analysis and financial statement preparation of the organization. The candidate will manage 3 Direct Reports. This person reports to Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Director of Accounting will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department


• Review data, journal entries, and reports to produce financial statements


• Prepare budgets for all departments


• As a Director of Accounting, you will provide reporting to outside agencies


• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• 5+ years of experience


• Management and Leadership experience


• Working Conditions: In Office


• CPA preferred


• Healthcare experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
