RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Hardware Project Manager in Redmond, WA.

Purpose of the Team:
This team focuses on computing and hardware for Azure Quantum, which is a comprehensive, open cloud ecosystem that aims to bring the benefits of quantum computing to individuals and organizations worldwide. It provides a full-stack solution, including quantum solutions, software, and hardware, all accessible through Azure.

The main function of a Hardware Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, with responsibilities including project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Hardware Project Manager develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope


• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising


• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements, system architecture and engineering development plans


• As a Hardware Project Manager, you will facilitate cross functional teams communication within multiple layers of computing system


• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering)


• 2-4 years of experience as a project manager


• Minimum 2-4 years of experience with ADO


• Minimum 2-4 years of experience with hardware, firmware or software project management


• Minimum 2-4 years of experience/understanding of test and measurement equipment


• Minimum 2-4 years of HW product development experience


• Experience with Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project)


• People management and team building skills


• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities


• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization


• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions


• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
