Job Summary/Basic Function: The Design program at Wheaton College is seeking an instructor to teach a 200-level course that introduces students to principles and practices of architectural design. This course provides students with basic theory, methodology and prototyping skills for considering spatial form, navigation, use and materials. Students have prior experience constructing forms out of paper and wood by hand or with fabrication tools.
The candidate will add detail to a basic syllabus for the course. Support from full-time faculty is offered. Pay is $5,000 per course. . Minimum Qualifications: MArch and 2+ years professional experience OR BArch and 5+ years of professional practice
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the college level is preferred but not required
