Accounting Consultant-CPA preferred at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Wilmer, Texas

Job Description:

Our client in the Wilmer/Hutchins area of South Dallas County is a seeking controller level Accounting Consultant, ideally a CPA, for a major clean up project going as far back as 2020.


Some of the goals of the project include:

• Assists in closing audit findings on reconciling items, heavy intercompany, that are still outstanding


• Trial balance needs to be scrubbed from multiple departments


• Payroll reconciliations that are outstanding and their effect of financials is unknown and messy


• Clean up items similar to project accounting. Every fund has at least 2 investment accounts.

Some of the requirements include:

• 10 plus years of overall accounting, including five plus years in leadership


• Previous clean-up/consulting experience


• CPA highly preferred, advanced degree or extensive experience required


• Highly skilled in financial statement prep, close previous months, reconciling all balance sheet accts, including intercompany, etc.


• Working knowledge of payroll acctg (52 payrolls/yr).


• Understands tax and GAAP standards and their financial impact
