Job Summary:
The UPS Store (TUPSS) Print Supervisor is responsible for providing and implementing recommendations for the Print strategy for The UPS Store, Inc. This includes researching, analyzing, evaluating, and testing print technology enhancements, responsible for the operation of the e-commerce print system, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support The UPS Store Inc.'s print initiatives both in the physical store and online. This position may supervise others within the department.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Researches and Recommends Print Technology Enhancements:
Continuously evaluates and improves the print offering at The UPS Store to remain competitive in the print industry.
Provides system results reporting and analytics to provide key metrics needed to analyze the print strategy and initiatives.
Tests and evaluates print equipment, stays up to date on printing hardware and software technologies to ensure existing products are current and compatible.
Develops an on-going print training strategy to provide current and relevant training to The UPS Store University students and the Franchise network.
Performs user testing and acceptance of vendor supplied system upgrades to ensure speed, quality requirements, and compatibility with current systems.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders following the change management process to schedule and deploy system upgrades and enhancements.
Executes Print Strategy Recommendations:
Executes the print strategy to support company initiatives.
Develops, communicates, and monitors the print strategy to continually enhance print products and services.
Reviews pricing strategy to analyze competitive offerings.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure company alignment of print applications to include new products and competitive offerings.
Provides forecasting to include market indicators and events that may drive demand of print services.
Works with Vendor Management and Legal groups during extensions and negotiations of platform and outsource contracts to achieve desired result.
Develops and manages print strategy for Corporate Retail Solutions (CRS) to attract and develop print clients for The UPS Store network.
Supervises and Develops Others:
Determines employees' training needs to produce continuous development plans.
Provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance.
Conducts performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement.
Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals.
Resolves individual and group performance issues in accordance with UPS's policies and procedures in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork.
Knowledge and Skills
Print industry experience (i.e. hardware management, software proficiency, e-commerce experience)
Project management
Strong communication and presentation skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
Strong problem-solving skills
Resourceful
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself.
Bachelor's Degree preferred (or internationally comparable degree) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience.

Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,680.00/year to $114,840.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
