ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Perform administrative duties to support the risk management department.
Manage the Harkins’ insurance email account and related correspondence.
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes as necessary.
Request Certificate of Insurance (“COIs”) from trade partners and/or their insurance agents on assigned projects to ensure timely compliance with contractual requirements.
Update the risk management SharePoint site on a monthly basis.
Assist with maintaining the risk administrator policies and procedures manual.
Perform data cleanup in automated insurance verification system (i.e., TrustLayer).
Assist risk administrators with trade partner payment holds and related communication.
Perform employee automobile liability insurance reviews and assessments.
Prepare and issue trade partners insurance compliance reports prior to each job review.
Ability to interact and communicate professionally and ethically with Harkins’ employee-owners, clients, trade partners, and other business partners.
Attend required corporate meetings and training programs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma.
2 years of administrative experience in a corporate setting is preferred.
Exhibits professional attitude with team, vendors, clients, and trade partners.
Self-starter, detail oriented with the ability to drive issues to completion.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Exhibits good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Windows.
Effective time management skills.
Team player willing to assist others with job duties.
