You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Business Development Coordinator in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Products and Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
Supporting sales for the Installed Base Engineering organization. Your day-to-day activities will include proposal development, including especially gathering and assembly of cost inputs from the engineering team and working up related pricing, as well as assembly of qualification documents, presentations and other marketing materials as requested. You will work both independently and as part of a team. You will report directly to the Director of Sales for Installed Base Engineering.
Creates, gathers, researches and organizes information from many sources to generate business development proposals, qualifications and presentations. Must synthesize disparate data from multiple sources into coherent BD documents.
Contribute to the development of standard proposal-ready content (e.g. proposal boilerplates) for use in future proposal development efforts
Develop proposal templates in compliance with client requirements as well as internal branding guidelines.
Coordinate support services, as required / as appropriate (e.g. graphics and desktop publishing services, print shop services, other administrative support, etc.) throughout the proposal lifecycle.
Leverages and shares proposal coordination and writing knowledge and experience within the team.
Understands and supports business development and proposal development policies, procedures and protocols. Proposal development elements may include but are not limited to qualification document development, proposal development and delivery and pre-selection presentations.
Organizes all technical written materials supplied by support groups including organization of sections, tables, exhibits, and attachments. Monitors proposal for accurate content and branding/format consistency and compliance.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $62,000 - $81,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
