Ledgent is partnering with a well-established organization seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team in Portland. This role will be responsible for preparing and processing client invoices in accordance with client-specific requirements. This is a direct hire opportunity with a wonderful organization that will pay up up to 65k annually.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and edit client invoices from billing data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client billing guidelines
* Post finalized invoices to client and general ledgers, managing e-billing systems and ensuring invoices are submitted on time
* Maintain and organize documentation related to invoicing, including special billing tasks such as write-downs, cost share bills, and contingent fee arrangements.
* Produce regular billing reports, including WIP and payment statuses
* Enter disbursements and manage timekeeper budgets in billing systems
* Assist with special billing requests from clients
Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of experience working with accounting software
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage time effectively and handle varying workloads
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on collaboration and customer service
