Position Overview: This role provides overall agronomic support to the assigned regional agronomy locations team members. Agronomist also works in supporting assigned area(s) with corporate agronomy team members. This role will work collaboratively with the Keystone agronomy team in supporting the entire Keystone agronomy division in agronomics guidance on procurement, product evaluation and support, sales/marketing, agronomic training and development, marketing, and collaborating with the ag technology group.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide agronomic support to assigned agronomy locations.
Work with assigned agronomy locations sales team to develop sales discovery opportunities with high-valued customers.
Work with corporate training to develop a regional agronomic training plan and curriculum to educate staff, and customers.
Work with corporate marketing to develop a regional agronomic marketing plan and collateral.
Support the assigned agronomy locations with field inspections as needed for opportunities and solving field issues.
Collaborate with the agronomy team on the evaluation of new and developing agronomic products and technologies.
Work with Ag Tech team in delivering comprehensive soil fertility planning to customers.
Effectively communicate the technical benefits of all commercial seed and crop protection products.
Work with Keystone corporate team in an assigned area of expertise.
Skills and Qualifications:
Advanced agronomy knowledge and skills associated with the local geography crop production principles.
The ability to translate highly technical agronomic knowledge to farming practices that can be easily implemented by agronomy locations and farmers.
Demonstrates ability to calculate pesticide, fertilizer, and seeding rates.
Demonstrates ability to present agronomic information to large and small groups.
Experience with the major crops grown in the US - corn, soybeans.
Expert knowledge of agricultural farming processes.
Certified Crop Advisor certification and/or ability/wiliness to obtain CCA
Education and Experience:
Bachelors in agronomy with 10+ years of related work experience or Masters degree in agronomy with 5+ years of related work experience.
