Biohabitats is seeking a Water Resources Engineer with a strong background in ecology and experience in nature-based design and/or ecological restoration to join our Southeast Atlantic Bioregion team in Charleston, SC.
The idea candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, and engineering skills that can be applied to a variety of projects including planning studies, in-field ecological assessments, and preparation of design plans and construction documents. The successful candidate will work with our multidisciplinary team of scientists, landscape architects, and engineers to support ecological restoration, conservation, climate adaptation and resiliency, and environmental justice work for government, private, and non-governmental organizations.

Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil, Environmental, or Ecological Engineering)
Years of Relevant Experience
5-8 years of relevant experience as a Water Resources Engineer
Professional Registration
PE or ability to obtain through reciprocity within six months of hire date
Salary Range
$80,000 - $95,000
