Responsible of driving standard work and continuous improvement in the processes, systems, and material functional talent development. This role is required to be the technical expert of processes, systems (ERP WMS & Kinaxis RapidResponse®.) in one or multiple materials areas (Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control and etc.) as well as a qualified project leader capable of working with the operations team to put the improvement in place to provide best in class service level, target profitability and differentiated capabilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the standardization, simplification, and optimization with continuous improvement cycle in the materials processes and systems.
Project Leader of supply chain transformation initiatives at the site level for Power Systems NA.
Diagnose and identify process and system gaps vs best in class operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize improvement projects to existing business process/system
Lead site teams to map 'as is' process with proper granularity and brainstorm with stakeholders on desired future process
Define and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT solution team to define test plan with well evaluated business scenarios in relevant functional areas
Actively manage all level of stakeholders through appropriate communication plan and perform timely escalation to the next level of management when necessary
Work with project team to develop training plan, training material and deliver necessary training sessions to ensure end users awareness and prepared for the change.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Typically reports to Manager - Material Delivery Transformation.
Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).
Skills/Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of working experience in any Materials, Inventory Control and Warehousing fields.
Understanding and application of broad range of materials relevant systems and technology (ERP Systems).
Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems and processes.
Proven record of accomplishment of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous improvements and cost reduction programs
Self-direction with ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
Work well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
Open to travel up to 25% on average.
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
BS/MS in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
Experience with implementation of Warehouse Management Systems.

The salary range for this position is $83,300 - $105,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
