You Will Make an Impact by:
Maintaining Cafe safety levels by checking product expiration dates; ensuring cleanliness and safety of the CafC) according to company policies and procedures; ensuring associates follow quality assurance and sanitation guidelines (for example, use of personal protective equipment); and confirming employees uniforms are consistent with company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and appearance.
Maintaining consistent quality of food products and services according to company policies and procedures by training and instructing associates regarding food preparation techniques; planning food production and menu items to ensure adequate product is prepared; ensuring cooking preparation work is conducted in appropriate timing sequence; checking the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that company standards are met.
Maintaining food and equipment inventories and keep inventory records by placing product orders; ensuring products are dated, stored, and rotated according to company policies and procedures; removing products from delivery trucks; transporting products to coolers, freezers, or storage areas; and counting and documenting weekly and monthly inventory.
Overseeing Cafe administrative functions by preparing deposits under supervision ; overseeing daily deliveries (for example, company store items); tracking associate attendance; creating work schedules; and assisting in the writing of yearly evaluations for the Back of House and Catering and Receiving associates.
Ensuring customer service is maintained by conducting morning team meeting; inspecting food stations prior to opening; overseeing and participating in set-up, restocking, and clean-up of food stations (for example, salad bar, mixing stations, entrance stands); observing customer service provided by associates; and ensuring associates deliver consistent portion sizes.
Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
