Responsibilities

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Techincal Project Coordinator with 3+ years of experience in our Charleston, South Carolina office. This position allows the flexibility to work from 24-40 hours. The position demands the ability to work on multiple projects/deadlines under pressure and work with a range of staff simultaneously.

Qualifications

What you’ll do:

• Collaboration with other project coordinators in our East Coast offices to provide administrative support for a 30+ person office of technical staff.
• Coordination with accounting and marketing staff to facilitate the opening of new projects and preparation of project marketing documents.
• Report editing and preparation, specification edits and formatting in Word and SpecsIntact.
• Prepare reports, agenda and data for staff and project meetings.
• Book conference registrations, professional association activities, and travel arrangements.
• Compile and report revenue projections and project budgets in Excel.
• Create and run CRM and Project Management Reports in Deltek’s VISION software.
• Coordinate and make submittals to state and federal agencies.
• Assist in preparing responses to RFP/Qs and developing client presentations.
• General administrative tasks for the office including reception, photocopy center, meeting preparation, lunch orders, and other administrative and office organizational tasks as required.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in verbal and written forms, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize systems and work with diverse personnel, as there are often competing deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player who is able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possess considerable experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including data entry and manipulation using Excel, presentation preparation using PowerPoint, and schedule development using MS Project.
• Experience with InDesign, BlueBeam Revu, SpecsIntact and Vu is a plus.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Experience in the civil engineering industry is a plus, however, will consider entry-level candidates and will train as necessary, local travel may be necessary.
