BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST JOB INTRODUCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is an integral part of the Revenue Producing (RevPro) team. The BDS is expected to work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to develop and generate targeted lists of law firms and corporations for calls and emails resulting in client meetings with iDS.
Key Responsibilities and KPIs
Identify and qualify potential client lists through various outlets such as research, outbound calls, emails, conferences, and social media outreach
Introduce other RevPros to law firms, corporations (not limited ot legal departments), and other potential clients
Track and manage leads in Salesforce ensuring timely and accurate records of prospect and client interactions
Collaborate with the RevPro team to develop proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs
Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential client opportunities
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
KPIs (52 weeks)
KPIs will be monitored monthly and if KPIs are achieved at year-end, 20% of base salary will be paid out no later than 12/31 of that year. $5,000 will be tied to each KPI; Additional $5,000 if all are achieved.

1,820 calls (151 calls/month)
4,680 emails (390 emails/month)
Additional Responsibilities:
Attend bi-monthly, quarterly, and annual company meetings
Report to Sales Team at weekly sales meetings
Submit and approve time and expenses in accordance with company policy
May be asked to perform other duties not listed in this job description as required by business needs
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years documented successful B2B solutions- oriented sales experience with a proven track record of developing new accounts and growing existing relationships within eDiscovery/litigation support
Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of meeting or exceeding KPI targets established by the company
Proven ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and book meetings with buyers of iDS’ services
Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo, etc.)
In-depth knowledgeable of eDiscovery, tools, and services being sold
Proactive work style exhibiting a high level of follow up and follow through
Ability to travel based on project needs, client meetings, industry conferences, etc.

Remote
Home office should be a quiet and professional space that can be used for virtual meetings (that include video as needed) and to maintain client confidentiality.
Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000 + Commission
