The Vice President of Clinical Analytics is responsible for managing all functional data and analytics areas of Healthcare Solutions both internally and externally as a highly credible client facing expert. The VP will represent our measurement methodology and claims-based analyses with external clients and prospects to build productive, lasting, cross-functional partnerships. This leadership position is critical in assisting with the strategic development of the Healthcare Solutions analytic roadmap, enhancing and modernizing client reporting, and the evolution of our Healthcare Solutions program effectiveness. In addition, the VP will own the lifecycle for deriving key insights from advanced analytics to support the focus around decision making based on cost savings in the market. This role will also require a detailed understanding of the operations and underlying business processes. Working in close collaboration with the SVP of Healthcare Solutions, the Vice President Clinical Analytics will assist cross-functional Sales, Product, and Operations teams, critical Paradigm business partners, and the Chief Healthcare Solutions Officer with the implementation of a powerful, actionable, and innovative analytics strategy. Coordination and collaboration with the shared services Data & Analytics team as appropriate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leverage extensive, deep analytical knowledge and team leadership skills to drive the development of analytical solutions and implement data-driven recommendations and outcomes.
Understand Healthcare Solutions strategic priorities, healthcare landscape, and key business questions where analytic guidance is needed.
Identify data-related capabilities and infrastructure requirements resulting from new and evolving product constructs and how those requirements can be developed.
Lead all Healthcare Solutions claims analyses and account reporting activity. Refine and evolve standard suite of reports highlighting our value proposition.
Evaluate, enhance, and maintain cost savings methodologies to support various economic models across different Healthcare Solutions lines of business to support rapid growth.
Champion the execution of sophisticated analysis to address specific Healthcare Solutions opportunities determined by consultation with various stakeholders across the organization.
Oversee the design research plans and methods for data gathering and analysis, analyze and interpret program data to synthesize key insights, and bring a market savvy lens to suite of internal and external reporting.
Perform program evaluation to inform program impact and design opportunities through dashboard reporting measures.
Define and implement a sound cross-functional governance program including roles and relationships, standards, policies and procedures that manage the quality, consistency, usability, and availability of information across the team.
Create clinical analytics strategy to support thought leadership pieces.
Develop surveys based on epidemiologic best practices to collect data on member preferences, attitudes, and behaviors related to program engagement and health outcomes
Keep up to date with emerging analytics, insights and data management technologies and methodologies, and assess their relevance to our products and strategy.
Support the development of various pricing models and performance guarantees to ensure attainment, company profitability, and client value is delivered.
Contribute to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
Actively identify opportunities to implement continuous improvement.

Lead skilled team to advance our analytics position in market.
Mentor, train, and supervise team members directly and indirectly, review their work and provide effective constructive feedback to achieve their best performance and goal attainment
Set the tone for a strong Enterprise culture and high employee engagement.
Ensure all team members understand, are trained in, and comply with Paradigm’s security requirements and policies.
Ensure all team members have the minimum level of IT system access required to effectively complete their Paradigm responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Public Health, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree a plus.
10+ years related experience required (health care, managed care).
Business leader who is self-motivated and excels in mentoring and staff development
Strategic thinking and planning experience
Strong candidates should have a proven track record of leading 1) the practical application of innovative measurement techniques, 2) defining, developing, and delivering reputable claims-based cost savings analytics, 3) industry standard measurement methodologies and KPIs to support effective program performance.

Advanced computational literacy, including working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, R, or other analytical programming languages.
Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tool(s) is a plus.
