STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
SALARY RANGE: $69,344 - $74,737 per year
*Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be placed
within the range
based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists Director of Academic Advising in supporting Academic Advising colleagues, developing and maintaining policies and procedures for the Academic Advising department, collaborating on campus-wide and advising specific events/initiatives, training
, onboarding, and development of team members. Advises students in select programs to assist students in exploring careers, evaluating academic abilities, and setting goals. Assists with registration and graduation requirements. Advises students regarding course content, course selection, pre-requisites, curriculum changes, recommended credit load, curriculum planning, and financial aid processes and policies to insure successful and timely graduation. Makes recommendations to divisional leadership and students regarding appropriate courses of action to respond to students' complex personal and academic challenges.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: A minimum of four years related experience in higher education or related industry (K-12, social work, etc). A minimum of two years of leadership experience within and/or experience in managing processes preferred.
**An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
