Olympic College is seeking to hire a full-time Program Specialist 2 position. This position is responsible for all printing needs for the all three of the college's campus. Assists Program Manager A with mail sorting to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of campus mail to staff and faculty.Essential Functions
Read and interpret print job submission with attention to detail.
Operate high speed digital printers utilizing sophisticated software to control printing and finishing
functions.
Operate other equipment to print, cut, bind, laminate, and mount documents.
Package completed products in preparation for delivery.
Research assess and analyze situations to meet customer requirements.
Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding program services.
Inform customers of program services available and potential time needed to complete projects.
Provide instruction on print job request process.
Provide advice on best practices for document preparation.
Evaluate job tickets for accuracy and follow-up with customers when revisions are needed.
Use word processing, graphics, statistical, spreadsheet and/or data base software.
Create invoices for off-campus customers.
Keep organized files of electronic and print documentation.
Monitor equipment for operational quality.
Understand and perform necessary troubleshooting procedures on all digital print center equipment.
Perform operator level maintenance equipment.
Confer with vendor product support and campus IT to trouble shoot production issues.
Accept deliveries from parcel and freight carriers.
Sort and deliver mail to campus offices.
Utilizes Store Front program to collect data and provide operational summaries to Program Manager A for analysis
Remain current with college policies and procedures and industry standards to ensure program activities align with best practices.

Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States will be considered.This is a full-time classified position scheduled to work XX hours a week, with a salary range of $43,716 - $58,380 All classified positions will start their salary at Step A, when you have completed six months of probation, you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Associate (WPEA) Union.
