Job Description:

As a Assembler Lead, you will assist supervisor with supervision of department staff. Plans, organizes, coordinates and administers the Assembly and Inspection of products to specified production and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain or exceed quality standards at all times.
• Assure that work-flow is maintained at an acceptable level at all times by managing time, department employees, and resources.
• Provide feedback and take corrective action whenever conditions exist preventing achieving quality, performance, and production standards.
• Maintain accurate records for reporting purposes on the day-to-day operations.
• Perform general tasks associated with the department including cleaning equipment, cleaning assigned work area, clerical functions, transporting materials or products.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
• Acquire proficiency in maintaining quality/production standards in one job function for which you are trained.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• High school graduate preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills
• Speak, read and write English.
• Speak Basic - Intermediate Spanish.
• Good vision (natural or corrected), excellent hand dexterity in both hands.
• Knowledgeable with operating tools and equipment necessary to consistently perform and achieve top quality products.
• Ability to repeatedly lift objects weighing 5 to 10 Lbs. and occasionally up to 20 Lbs.
• Repeated standing, walking, and bending are required.
• Ability to perform in a production environment with unusual conditions such as high-volume noise level and dust.
• Available to work overtime if necessary, including weekends.
• Attend training sessions as required to meet standards of job-related activities relating to all HSC applications.
• Participate in cross-training efforts interfacing with other departments to acquire additional skills and knowledge for advancement.
