Ledgent Finance & Accounting is looking for a permanent Staff Accountant for a client in Woburn, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Controller with month-end activities, including:
Preparing journal entries
General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations
Bank and petty cash reconciliations
Support the CFO and Controller in job cost analysis
Record daily ACH customer payments and inventory transfers
Prepare and issue monthly financial and service analysis reports, including:
Days to bill reports
Service agreement renewal reports
Open work order and warranty reports
Back up accounts payable processes as needed
Assist contracts and service managers with ad-hoc reporting requests
Provide leadership and share expertise with colleagues
Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines
Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Who You Are:
A dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and pride in your work
2+ years of experience in accounting
Proficient in financial systems and accounting practices
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate to advanced level)
Customer-focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
