Production Control Summary
Coordinates the product flow from after machining to final inspection. This position involves communication with customers and outside vendors. This position assumes the responsibility of production control and work with quality control, accounting, manufacturing, and engineering to move product along as scheduled.
Monday - Friday 6:00am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities
Production Control Essential Job Functions
Maintain production schedule and work orders to enable product flow to insure on time deliveries.
Print orders for production and monitor completion of orders
Supplies customer service with delivery dates
Monitors customer backlog reports for manufacturing to insure on-time-delivery
Moves products internally and expedites outside vendors
Expedite orders as needed to meet customer demand
Respond to internal customer requests
Prepares and submits shipping lists to accounting
Qualifications
Production Control Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)
Understanding of production requirements, processes, and materials
Scheduling/planning principles and concepts
Inventory principles and concepts
Manufacturing / ERP systems software
Experience with Microsoft Office software
High School Diploma or GED
Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good organizational skills
