.NET Software Engineer 12 Months contract Atlanta, GA (Hybrid Onsite role 2-3 days a week)
TheSr. Software Engineerwrites and maintains code within applications and systems to implement capabilities and features, improve performance and maintainability, while reducing technical debt in alignment with product and technology roadmaps. The Software Engineer plays a role in Agile planning, providing advice and guidance, and monitoring emerging trends.
The Role:
CONTRIBUTE to technical discussion and design sessions leveraging your knowledge and expertise to make problem-appropriate recommendations.
IMPLEMENT thorough and understandable solutions.
IDENTIFY and help to REDUCE technical debt.
REVIEW and UNDERSTAND technical architecture, standards, and conventions. Be able to write software adhering to internal quality controls and standards.
MAINTAIN deployed production applications.
SUPPORT internal collaborators and teams.
COLLABORATE with internal business partners to conceive optimal solutions and realistic timelines.
MENTOR junior developers and peers through code reviews and KT (knowledge transfer) sessions.
PARTICIPATE in the engineering community, staying up to date on new technologies and best practices.
SHARE your insights with your team and the larger organization when opportunity permits.
TROUBLESHOOT issues when necessary. No one enjoys a production issue, and sometimes the root cause is not immediately clear. When these issues come up, a positive and constructive attitude is a necessity.
LEARN from issues and TAKE ACTION toward building safeguards to mitigate similar occurrences in the future.

Qualifications Minimum Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
At least 5 years of professional, software-development experience implementing, customizing, and supporting enterprise-level software solutions
Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or other cloud services
Working experience with application lifecycle methodologies (e.g. agile, iterative)
Working experience in problemanalysis and solution design
Proficient programming, unit, and system testing skills for complex applications
Ability to effectively communicate progress on application development priorities
Ability to internalize information quickly at a high level and make recommendations in ambiguous situations
Ability to recognize when an urgent matter may require additional effort
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
