Position Summary
The Business Analytics Manager participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of sales data including, but not limited to, customer data, product databases, sales reports and dashboards. This position is also a key component in the annual strategic plan updates, development of the annual, North American budget, and bi-monthly workload process which helps steer the business in the short-term.
Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
CRM Administration (Salesforce):
Design and maintain customer and product datasets in Excel, Google, several ERP systems, Tagetik cloud-software, and within our CRM system (Salesforce and Salesforce Analytics/Tableau environment).
Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
Salesforce light development, e.g. dashboard construction, addition of data fields, page layout changes, filter views, dataset integration, configuration, updates, management and reporting.
Salesforce Analytics/Tableau dataset management and dashboard development.
Participate and/or lead CRM improvement projects or standardization actions amongst various regions .
Develop training materials and facilitate end-user training as needed.
Strategic Planning:
Manage portions of the regions strategic plan, including data gathering, cleansing and organization, analysis, and report presentation to Leadership.
Provide the structure, process, and tools for input collection, migrate and manage data within the modeling tools, provide dataset outputs as needed.
Annual Operating Budget:
Manage and coordinate the preparation of data for the company's annual budget, including training the Commercial team on the budget process, coordinating activities with other functional areas and regions, and assisting in producing the budget presentation to Leadership.
Workload Forecasting:
Prepare the data for the bi-monthly workload process for review by the Commercial /Finance/Operations teams in directing the company's short-term forecast.
Develop and maintain standard work related to this position with an eye towards process streamlining, error reduction, and continuous improvement.
Act as the liaison for the Commercial Team to other departments (Finance, IT, etc.) for business process changes.
Other:
Support the Commercial team with data requests, extraction, preparation, and analysis.
Assist in the implementation of our new ERP system, data management, extraction, and integration into Salesforce.com.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications-Education/Experience
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
5 or more years of experience in analysis roles in sales, marketing, engineering or operations
Subject matter expert experience with Salesforce admin and light development duties
Expert experience level with Office Suite software (Excel) and Google Suite software (Sheets and Slides)
Proficient knowledge base working with ERP/MRP systems including item masters, bill of materials, and routings.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred:
Master's degree in business, administration, or engineering
Certified Salesforce Administrator
Familiarity with the fastener business and market
Travel Requirements : Less than 10%
