Organize and facilitate effective release planning meetings, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT goals.
Manage release schedules and key infrastructure initiatives across multiple applications.
Plan, manage, and execute release cycles, including tracking release deliverables, functional and security test sign-offs, and leading release efforts for both non-production and production deployments.
Prepare and maintain detailed release plans for various applications, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
Review release plans and change requests within the release pipeline to ensure quality and accuracy.
Coordinate release builds to appropriate environments (e.g., Testing, Production).
Perform data analysis using SQL to generate release metrics and scorecards for performance tracking.
Assist in establishing a consistent, predictable release cadence and manage release priorities.
Standardize release processes across IT applications in collaboration with various stakeholders.
Map cross-functional dependencies for releases and maintain the release calendar to mitigate risks and ensure smooth transitions.
Collaborate with release leads and managers to deliver comprehensive release plans and ensure delivery excellence across the application portfolio.
Provide flexibility to work outside business hours as needed to support release deployments.
Provide support to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) when needed, ensuring that change requests are reviewed and aligned with operational and security standards.
Skills Required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Change and Release Management.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in system integration processes beyond the degree requirements.
Strong understanding of ITIL best practices, particularly in IT Service Management (Change/Release/Incident/Problem Management).
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (a plus).
Knowledge of SQL, VB scripting, and data analysis (a plus).
Education/Certification/Training
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or six years of relevant experience.
ITIL V4 certification (Preferred)
