Job Description:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for essential engineering and operational IT infrastructure services, including compute, storage, virtualization, data centers, cloud, telecommunications, databases, disaster recovery/business continuity planning (DR/BCP), networking, collaboration platforms, and core applications. This role focuses on maintaining high-performing and stable infrastructure services, delivering successful projects, and developing strategies to overcome technological and business challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage high-performing IT infrastructure teams overseeing cloud-based and on-premises engineering, operations, and end-user computing.

Transform infrastructure capabilities for cloud and internal systems to enhance user experience, resilience, performance, availability, security, and reduce total cost of ownership.

Ensure highly stable and available technology services and infrastructure.

Develop and maintain robust DR/BCP strategies.

Scope, plan, manage, and deliver technology projects that meet business objectives.

Lead innovation efforts by assessing new technologies and preparing business cases.

Establish, measure, and maintain IT service levels.

Manage resources and capacity based on actual and projected demand.

Champion the company's security and compliance policies.

Collaborate with other managers on escalations and high-level projects.

Diagnose and effectively communicate wide-scale issues, developing solutions.

Automate repetitive tasks and document processes, scripts, and standards.

Ensure the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation.

Act as a technical escalation point and lead the Engineering and Operations teams.

Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement.

Conduct and lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts.

Perform budget management, timely reviews of partner invoicing, and infrastructure cost forecasting and management.

Act as a steward of the company's money via active management of fixed and variable costs.

Maintain service catalogs, establish and maintain KPI's, report on metrics, and support the organizations SLA's.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related IT discipline.

10+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience, including 2+ years with Azure technologies and 5+ years in leadership roles.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).

Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, SCRUM, SOC, and SOX methodologies.

Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Services, including architecture, tenant management, compute, storage, network, and security services.

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates or Terraform, and automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Expertise in automating infrastructure deployment, updates, and management using IaC practices.

Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating infrastructure deployment with application development.

Skills in monitoring and optimizing system performance using tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

Knowledge of networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnetting, security groups, VPN gateways, and managing hybrid cloud environments.

Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions in Azure and on-premises environments.

Ability to implement governance policies using Azure Policy and Management Groups.

Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and experience preparing for audits.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teams.

Experience in project planning, execution, and delivery within time and budget constraints.

Skills in resource allocation and capacity management.

Adept at vendor management and procurement.

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with experience in partnership environments (onshore, nearshore, offshore).

Focus on continuous improvement and business process management.

Familiarity with technology stacks including Azure, Windows, Linux, Office 365, MECM, Entra ID, AD, Pure Storage, VMware, NSX, Cohesity, Zerto, SQL, FortiGate, Ivanti Platform, and Unidata.

Excellent service skills with the ability to lead by example in high-quality service delivery.

Proven ability to manage through systems

Salary and Other Compensation:

The starting salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for a target bonus incentive of 20% annual salary in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
