Your opportunity
  • Work on a high-performing asset allocation team managing billions of AUM
  • Work closely with the investment team, including a Nobel laureate in economics, on designing systematic investment strategies and research
  • Use key technical skills including senior-level Python development to build and maintain systematic model implementations
  • Upgrade and support the daily data pipeline as it flows through the entire system such as holdings, signals, optimized portfolios, proposed trades and daily reports

Must have skills
  • 3+ years of financial industry experience preferably in a front office or front office supporting role building production tools and systems responsible for generating trades
  • 3+ years of solid Python programming skills to cleanse, manipulate, and present data, particularly using quantitative data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
  • 6+ years of full-time experience developing and maintaining enterprise scale applications with many tens of thousands of lines of code
  • Building Python-based software capable of running backtests
  • SQL, including cleaning and working with very large data sets
  • Bloomberg and its APIs
  • Linux command line
  • Microsoft Office, including Excel and Excel VBA
  • Must be willing to work an early start schedule to accommodate pre-market-open data work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to explain complicated technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
  • Ability and willingness to refactor code produced by others and make production-ready
  • Enjoyment from collaborating with others in a fast-paced team environment
  • Drive and self-reliance
  • Must adhere to compliance rules, including for personal trading, that are common for regulated investments firms
  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field from an accredited college or university

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through December 31, 2024.
