The Workday Team at GQR seeks an experienced HRIS Manager to lead and manage our client's Workday tenant, ensuring its optimal functionality and alignment with business processes and organizational needs. This role will be 2-3 days onsite in Houston; however, we will consider remote candidates if they meet all the requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of the Workday system to meet organizational needs.
Develop and execute the Workday roadmap in close collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring continuous alignment with evolving business requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization through Workday automation, gathering business requirements, and proposing enhancements.
Drive improvements to streamline HR and business processes, ensuring heightened efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage a team of Workday support staff, delegating tasks judiciously and fostering ongoing skill development.
Provide leadership oversight for Workday releases and conduct regular maintenance to adhere to system best practices.
Deliver comprehensive training and support to super users and end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring user proficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on configuration experience across multiple Workday modules and at least 5 years of Workday/HRIS team management experience.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, translating business requirements into effective system solutions.
Exhibit a strong customer service orientation, along with proficiency in engaging and persuading stakeholders.
