The Procurement Manager at WANRack, LLC will lead the Procurement Department, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services to support the company's fiber development projects. This position is key to managing the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying sourcing opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. As a subject matter expert in procurement strategies and supply chain management, the Procurement Manager will drive initiatives to support the successful execution of fiber development projects and overall company growth. Additionally, this role will oversee the implementation of a new procurement and inventory system, positioning the company for greater operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Conduct market research to develop sourcing strategies ensuring timely availability of quality materials, equipment, and services.
Supplier Relationship Management
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Negotiate favorable terms, monitor supplier performance, and resolve issues or disputes.
Contract Negotiation
Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and terms while adhering to company policies and legal standards.
Cost Optimization
Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives by analyzing market trends, optimizing inventory levels, and exploring alternative sourcing options.
Procurement Process Oversight
Manage procurement processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, vendor selection, delivery coordination, and payment approvals.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
Supply Chain Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Risk Management
Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues, with robust risk management strategies.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Develop KPIs to measure procurement efficiency and supplier performance.
Prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
Continuous Improvement
Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related fields; master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in procurement management or a similar role, preferably in telecommunications or infrastructure industries.
Familiarity with fiber development or construction projects, including relevant equipment and materials.
