They provide clean, high-performance engines for industrial, on-road, and energy applications, including generators, trucks, and construction equipment. With over one million square feet of engineering, assembly, operations, and distribution space across seven facilities, they deliver high-volume production with room for growth.
Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000
Position Summary:
This individual will focus on new product development and implementation, primarily designing custom enclosure units for power generators. This role offers the opportunity to work on structural and plumbing designs, supporting significant projects through 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute complex technical projects related to power generation enclosure system design.
Develop and manage projects addressing product or process challenges, introducing innovative concepts and solutions.
Lead design reviews for major projects and present findings to the engineering team.
Mentor junior engineers, designers, and technicians, providing technical guidance.
Create and manage 3D models, 2D drawings, and bills of materials using release processes.
Adhere to custom design codes.
Follow safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and plant safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in SolidWorks with advanced CAD automation skills preferred.
Experience designing complex systems involving welding, sheet metal, and fabricated parts.
Familiarity with mechanical piping, plumbing, and structural design.
Knowledge of engineering calculations (tolerance stack-ups, stress/strain).
Experience working with design codes (ISO, ASME, UL).
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
