Darlington's Manufacturing Project Manager will report to the Facilities Engineer addressing a variety of plantwide projects and assignments that will span a number of Engineering and Maintenance subjects. The Facilities Engineer will be required to direct all assigned projects and ensure they are performed optimally, within budget and according to schedule with the support of the Manufacturing Project Manager.
Position Overview: Manufacturing Project Manager:
As directed by Facilities Engineer: Manage engineering projects and activities. Assist with defining the scope of the project. Work with team members to create a list of deliverables. Track actual costs and adhere to the schedule to ensure we remain on track with within budget.
Interface and maintain working partnerships with all Darlington plant management and plant supervisors.
Project management for disaster recovery situations, plant and machine design, new machine and system start up, process innovation, plant enhancement, facility repair, etc.
Participate in all cost savings initiatives.
Keep all CAD drawings updated; provide layouts for new projects.
