What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a motivated Project Manager to join our team, overseeing all aspects of HVAC/Mechanical construction projects in the building services sector. This role focuses on ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved while meeting profitability goals.
The Ideal Candidate
Manage all assigned projects, excluding manpower coordination, which is handled by Field Superintendents and the Operations Manager.
Conduct project head-start meetings with estimators to acquire all relevant project details.
Review and finalize project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate procurement, assembly, and approval of submittals with the Project Coordinator.
Perform equipment buyouts and oversee equipment purchases for each project.
Prepare and submit RFIs, change orders, and monthly work-in-progress projections.
Conduct regular reviews of job costs and schedules of values.
Manage project closeouts, including securing final punch list completion, retention billing, and ensuring all required documents are completed.
Other Essential Functions
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience in HVAC/Mechanical construction.
A minimum of 4-6 years of project management experience in HVAC/Mechanical systems, with additional experience in healthcare or building services preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of HVAC/Mechanical construction processes and systems.
Proficiency in project management software, as well as tools like AutoCAD and Revit.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Clean driving record required.
Expertise in coordinating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Strong focus on maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to deadlines.
Effective leadership to guide project teams and stakeholders.
