The Opportunity
Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Senior Agile Project Manager. In this role, you will manage complex projects or multiple Agile teams. Senior Agile Project Managers provide guidance on methodology, oversee project governance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, while consistently communicating with the product organization, the development team, and other scrum team members.
How You'll Make a Difference
Results Oriented: Manage large, complex projects. Responsibilities include developing and refining project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, risks, and contingency plans.
Daily: Be responsible for all aspects of project management and agile development team ceremonies for one or more teams.
Engagement: Build collaborative, productive teams. Lead large, multi-location, and virtual groups of multi-disciplinary teams.
Management: Lead and direct project team members and third-party resources by assigning/monitoring tasks and identifying/resolving issues to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements and deadlines.
Strategic Planning: Assist with the high-level planning and scheduling for approved and highly likely roadmap projects.
PMO: Develop and implement flexible programs and management methodology, appropriately manage risk, and lead to successful implementation of projects.
Metrics: Anticipate and measure project performance and progress using various quantitative tools and techniques to identify and quantify any variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of five years of relevant work experience
Thorough experience delivering projects using an agile methodology
Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary projects that involve multiple project teams
Demonstrated clear and concise written and oral communication skills, up to and including with C-suite level executives
Experience in all phases of workforce management, managing a diverse team which may include remote resources, third-party consultants, and MSP
PMP, ACMP, Scrum, or similar certifications preferred
Knowledge of SAP S/4 or other financial services preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
