What You'll Be Doing as an EIC Manager:
As the EIC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical, instrumentation, and controlsengineering team throughout the full lifecycle of projects. You'll lead a group of engineers and designers, ensuring timely project execution, managing budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective solutions. This leadership role is integral to driving the company's success in delivering industry-leading engineering services.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of EIC engineers and designers, fostering growth and ensuring peak performance.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and successful project execution.
Technical Oversight: Review and approve EIC designs, calculations, and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement of EIC materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications.
Construction & Commissioning Support: Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases to ensure successful implementation.
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to optimize engineering processes, drive quality improvements, and maintain safety standards across the team.
Requirements for Success:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in EIC engineering within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) industry.
Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with the ability to stamp and approve engineering drawings.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to mentor and manage engineering teams.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., NEC, ISA, IEC).
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with EIC design software and tools.
Project Management Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and solve complex engineering challenges.
Travel and Onsite Work: Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time and work onsite 80-90% of the time.
