Optomi has partnered with a global entertainment company to hire their next Product Manager.

The User Choice Team within our Product Management & Data Platform Governance organization is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead privacy-related product suites and contribute to scaling our data privacy solutions across the digital portfolio. In this role, you'll manage privacy products and ensure they align with compliance standards while balancing technical and non-technical stakeholder needs.

This role is a unique blend of product management and technical writing, where you'll work on scaling up projects and cleaning up documentation-all while collaborating with various internal teams to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and alignment with privacy regulations.

You'll partner with teams across Legal & Privacy, Ad Platforms, Marketing, Engineering, and more to design solutions that help our business meet evolving privacy compliance needs and deliver the best user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather, refine, and translate privacy and compliance requirements from various stakeholders (Legal & Privacy, Digital Product teams, Data Instrumentation, Ad Sales, and more) into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRD) with business justifications.
  • Oversee the implementation of privacy product solutions across the DE&E Tech portfolio, in collaboration with Consumer Software Engineering (CSE) teams.
  • Act as the administrator for OneTrust Cookie Consent Management Platform (CMP), including U/I template architecture, geolocation rule sets, and frameworks such as GPC, IAB.
  • Ensure all privacy-related digital products meet compliance standards and adhere to regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and US State Laws.
  • Lead projects around scaling privacy tools, making them accessible for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, system architecture overviews, API documentation, and technical FAQs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to identify opportunities to improve documentation quality and usability, ensuring it's consistent, clear, and accessible.
  • Revise and improve documentation structures for ease of use, enhancing product adoption and stakeholder management.
  • Write and memorialize detailed documents, ensuring privacy tools and compliance requirements are easily understood by both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to scale up project documentation, aligning with regulatory frameworks and business needs.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Legal, Privacy, Ad Tech, Marketing, and Engineering to define and deliver privacy product solutions.
  • Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure privacy tools meet both compliance and user needs.
  • Leverage a strong understanding of data privacy regulations to ensure all products and solutions align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Product Strategy & Scaling:
  • Contribute to the overall privacy product strategy, helping to scale solutions across our portfolio.
  • Ensure products are adaptable to evolving privacy regulations, future-proofing them for new compliance requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of product management experience in a technical writing or privacy-related role, preferably in the media, digital products, or SaaS industries.
  • Proven experience with OneTrust Cookie Consent Management Platform (CMP), including implementation and administration.
  • Strong familiarity with privacy regulations such as CCPA, GDPR, and US State Laws.
  • Experience with API documentation, cloud-based technologies, and software as a service (SaaS) products.
  • Familiarity with Ad Tech ecosystems, programmatic ads, tag managers, and site analytics tools (e.g., Adobe).
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong bias for action and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills, with the tenacity to drive projects through to completion.
  • A passion for writing and technical documentation with a focus on clarity, structure, and user accessibility.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data privacy compliance tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the Ad Tech ecosystem, including tag management systems and ad serving platforms.
  • Background working in or alongside engineering teams, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex topics in a simple, approachable manner.
