Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple restaurant locations.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, bill payments, and customer invoices.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
Generate and analyze financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Collaborate with management to ensure budgets are adhered to and identify opportunities for cost control.
Utilize Restaurant365 and/or Toast software for accounting, reporting, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with tax filings, sales tax reporting, and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Proficiency in Restaurant365, Toast, or similar restaurant-specific software.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with inventory management and cost control strategies.
Experience with multi-location financial management.
Knowledge of restaurant operations and systems integration.
