Job Description:

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Description:

Our client is currently seeking an LPN at a few of their locations in Minneapolis, MN.

Can be either a Contract or Temp to Hire



Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

Duties:

• Conducts focused assessment of the health status of an individual patient through the collection and comparison of data to normal findings and the individual patient's current health status.


• Reports changes and responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to a registered nurse or the appropriate licensed health care provider


• Documents and updates vital signs, med/vaccine administration, referrals, and other patient information.


• Recognizes alterations in the patient's condition and reports findings to a LIP or RN.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications/Experience:


Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing and skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)



Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:

• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and PNHS.
• Basic computer/keyboarding skills required. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure the safety of patients.
• 
  Must provide proof of COVID vaccination
