As a Production Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing team members in the conception, planning, execution, and safe operation of all shows, events, and experiences. You will oversee logistics, resources, and the execution of operational plans, working across multiple departments and with third-party vendors. Your role includes ensuring the delivery of entertainment technical riders and directing entertainment and event technical operations staff, including third-party labor solutions. You will also lead the annual development of operating budgets and ensure operations are conducted efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and enhancing the guest experience.
Responsibilities:
•Manage team members in designated areas for shows, events, and experiences.
•Oversee logistics, resources, and execution of operational plans for live shows and events.
•Ensure delivery of entertainment technical riders and meet mutually-agreed requirements.
•Direct entertainment and event technical operations staff, including third-party labor.
•Lead annual development of operating budgets and manage within those budgets.
•Operate with a critical eye toward quality and guest experience enhancement.
Qualifications:
•College degree or equivalent experience in technical theater, stage management, event planning, concert and show production, or related field.
•Ability to analyze data, solve problems critically, manage communications across leadership levels, and demonstrate accountability.
•Thorough understanding of stage operations, including rigging, audio, lighting, video, forklifts, high-reach equipment, and scissor lifts.
•Experience in managing large budgets, leading teams of 100+ employees, and planning and executing live shows, exhibitions, and large-scale events across multiple venues.
