LaSalle Network is hiring for a highly regarded third party insurance group, seeking a Healthcare Benefits & Claims Specialist to join their team! The firm brings over 20 years of expertise servicing financial and professional services companies around the country. Known for their white-glove-service approach, this firm prioritizes integrity and quality in their services and is expanding their portfolio an impressive rate.
Assist clients' employees directly with their benefits claims submissions and issues
Respond to benefits inquiries from clients' managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
Facilitate clients' new-hire onboarding calls
Enroll clients' employees with carriers and processes life status changes
Process and administer leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork including medical, personal, disability and FMLA
Clear understanding and working knowledge of claims processing, denials and appeals processes including ICD-10 and CPT codes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that demonstrate resourcefulness and attention to detail
Concise and articulate communication skills as this position requires a high volume of calls and written interaction with clients, insurance carriers and doctors' offices
Organization, speed and accuracy are crucial for this role
Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment by collaborating with others and sharing tools, skills and knowledge
