Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the machining industry looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer! This role includes a 6% 401K match, unlimited PTO, and a wellness program. This person will spend 70% of their time on the shop floor, working with machinists and troubleshooting. The remaining 30% will be writing procedures, creating standards, improving processes, and doing documentation. This is a GREAT opportunity for high level machinists to move into engineering.
Must have's: • 5+ years in Machining with a degree
. 8+ years in Machining without a degree • Proficient in CNC machining - most importantly how to create a part from scratch & being involved with the process of running a piece for the first time • CNC Lathe experience and some CNC Mill • Programming CNC Machines in a CAM software • Proficient GD&T - this person must come from a highly precise industry.
Nice to haves: • Experience overseeing the whole manufacturing process from start to finish. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering • Understanding of CNC Tooling • Created or made improvements to the manufacturing process. • Experience in the Aerospace industry • CAD and ERP experience
